There is also a small > tutorial on how to read error logs and you might be able to figure out your self whats wrong with your game!Īnd since a short time we are also showing the >known problems of this modpack! I suspect that the issue may have something to do with the combination of being on a remote server and the dock having never had a tank in it when the pipe is placed that results in it not properly returning the fluid it contains when asked by the pipe. This topic contains the most common problems and fixes knows for attack of the b team! the other pipe mod in the pack (pipez) exhibited the same behavior as above, also without crashing the creative world. When I place a dock, don't put a tank into the dock, then place the pipe, it does connect to the dock, but in my creative world, it didn't cause a crash. When I place a dock, put a tank into the dock, remove the tank, then place the pipe, the pipe does not connect to the dock. After resolving the problem on the server (I had to replace the fluid pipe with a block of air), I took the time to attempt to replicate the issue in a local creative world. Upon performing the click to place the pipe, the server crashed with an ArrayIndexOutOfBounds exception as a result of a ticking entity (the pipe). Place a fluid pipe from the Cyclic mod by right clicking the ground between the two items in the world.Note that there is no tank in the dock or added to the dock at this time. Place tanknull dock in a straight line from the black hole tank so that there is a one block gap between the two devices.Place black hole tank containing lava into the world. The modpack was FTB Academy 1.16 version 1.1.0. I have some additional information that may prove helpful.įirst off, we're playing on 1.16.5 using forge 36.1.4 and version 2.3-1.16.4 of tanknull and Cyclic version 1.16.5-1.3.2.

Video/images/gifs (direct upload or link): If I load the world in a single player game, following deletion of the pipe, then go to the location of the pipe in the world, it's still there. However, when I subsequently attempt to load into the world, it promptly crashes, again reporting the "ticking block entity" and referencing the cyclic fluid pipe. When I edit the file, save the changes (deleting the pipe), and then upload that region file to the server, it successfully starts up and gets into a "normal" operating state. I have since used NBTExplorer to delete both the pipe and the dock from the region file, to no avail. The crash log reports the cyclic cable is the entity doing the ticking. Since then, when the server reaches the point of trying to start up and has just completed the structurebuffer for cached world data, I get an unhandled exception and the server crashes, reporting a "ticking block entity". I then clicked to place the cyclic fluid pipe between the two when the server crashed out. I placed my blackhole tank containing lava, then placed a tanknull dock two blocks away from the blackhole tank so that there was one block of air between them. I was in the process of setting up to empty out a tanknull tank in my FTB Academy server.
